The PMMI Lighting App provides comprehensive control over Area light levels and lighting scenes from your iPhone or iPad.

SETUP AND GETTING STARTED

1. Configure "Areas" and "Scenes" in your PMMI Lighting system by visiting https://pmmi-lighting.com/configuration.
2. Ensure your PMMI Lighting system is connected to the Internet either through an Ethernet cable between the lighting hub (Raspberry Pi) and your router or by setting up WiFi in the hub.
3. Email [email protected] with "App Authorization" in the subject line to request authorization for email addresses to access and control your PMMI Lighting system. Provide your name, PMMI serial number, contact phone, and the email addresses you want to grant control access. Wait for confirmation from PMMI Lighting once authorization is granted before proceeding.
4. Open the PMMI Lighting App, choose "Register" from the login screen, and complete the registration form. Use one of the authorized email addresses as your username. A 6-digit verification code will be sent to you for initial login.

OPERATION

On the Area Controls page, toggle between controlling Area light levels using sliders or toggle switches. Dimmable Areas use slider controls to adjust light levels, while non-dimmable Areas are controlled with toggle switches. Daylight harvesting Areas are indicated by a leaf icon next to their name.

Switch between Area Controls and Scene Controls by tapping on the tabs at the bottom of the screen.

On the Scene Controls page, select a Scene name to activate that lighting scene, adjusting specified Area light levels defined during configuration. The changes will reflect on the Area Controls page within 15 seconds of activating a Scene.

The System Name defined in the configuration file is displayed at the top of the App. An icon next to it indicates whether the system is in "Home" or "Away" mode, with toggling control available through specific Scenes configured accordingly.

AUTOMATIC LIGHT LEVEL UPDATES

Any changes in Area light levels triggered by switches, motion sensors, timed events, or other applications will be updated in the App within 15 seconds.

The App also displays light levels for Daylight Harvesting Areas, showcasing how automated control systems adjust light levels based on natural daylight entering the space.

MULTI-SYSTEM SUPPORT

If authorized for multiple PMMI Lighting systems, a selection drawer allows users to switch between systems easily within the app. Note that multi-system support requires PMMI Lighting hub software v3.1.2.
